How Wristream works

Wristream reads how your body responds to what you watch, and uses that to choose what comes next.

Three steps, running continuously. The third is the one nobody else does.

  • Sense. Read the cardiac, movement and sleep signals your wearable already collects.
  • Select. Score what is eligible against your current state, safety rules first.
  • Learn. Measure what changed, and attribute it back to what you watched.

Well-being is a constraint on what is eligible, not a warning afterwards.

  • Content expected to leave you worse off never reaches the shortlist.
  • Hard limits on how many high-arousal clips arrive back to back.
  • Watched during a session, not only after. It changes course mid-queue.

The last thing you watch should not be what keeps you up.

  • Near your usual sleep time, Wristream stops experimenting with unfamiliar clips.
  • The feed is held below a ceiling on how stimulating it gets.
  • Your sleep timing comes from your watch, not a fixed clock hour.

The physiological work happens on your device, not on our servers.

  • Raw health data never has to leave your phone.
  • Because it runs locally, it keeps working offline and on poor connections.
  • We never collect your messages, photos, browsing history or other apps.

People differ enormously in how they respond to the same clip.

  • Wristream learns your patterns instead of applying a population average.
  • It keeps adjusting, tracking you rather than a snapshot of you.
  • What you watch, skip and replay all shape what comes next.

No proprietary hardware, no extra device, no sensor to strap on.

  • Built for mainstream smartwatches, bands and rings, and the platforms they feed.
  • Different devices expose different sensors. Wristream uses whatever yours has.
  • Wear it as you normally would. There is no new routine to adopt.
